Cute or not? Peruvian Hairless puppy

The owners of a four-month-old puppy called 'Machu Picchu', a Peruvian Hairless Dog, have offered it to U.S. President-elect Barack Obama. Obama has promised his daughters a new pet for the White House but one of them is allergic to most breeds. The owners of the Peruvian Hairless Dog say it is perfect for kids who are sensitive to dogs. Photos: REUTERS/Mariana Bazo

Not cute springs to mind - but it is probably a lovely dog!

I wonder if he feels a diplomatic need to accept the puppy...

I hope he gives his daughter the choice, because she has to love it!

I just wonder what a furless/ hairless pet would feel like. Would you want to pet them as much?

PERRO CALATOS ( HAIRLESS DOGS)
Well, Have you ever own a hairless dog?
Do & don´t to own a hairless dog.

DO
1.- they are very charismatic dogs
2.- they think they are human beings.
3.- smart dogs
4.- lovable if you are his/hers master
5.- very soft under their belly.
6.- They need to live in hot weather or warm climates.

Don´t
1.- Do not make a hairless dog to live in extreme cold weather
2.- they have skin problems, like acne.
3.- very difficult to train.
4.- big destroyers,

I think it will be horrible to have a hairless dog in a cold climate like Washington D.C.
The origin of the hairless dog is from the North part of Peru where the climate is pretty hot.

I love hairless dogs but it will be unfair for the dog to be in the White House. Sorry Machu Picchu..I would rather see you here in Peru with us. ( humberto´s mother)
