Hey is that my koi flying away ! :(
Yeah this almost happened to me several times this summer. We have a bunch of eagle nests right up the road from us and they made a few attempts to catch some of our koi but luckily they didn't get anything. It didn't take long for us to put up some pond netting to protect against such predators as birds such as eagles, raccoons and other wildlife. Thank got it never got our big kois as they were probably about 18-20 inches long.
That is a very cool picture but sad all at the same time to some pond owner.
